When it comes to developing your career, you are never alone at South Carolina Law.
We offer mentoring programs that help establish your professional contacts and a leadership program that can give you a competitive edge.
Plus, our Office of Career Services will provide you with the resources to help you land your first job, or transition to a different one—even after you’ve graduated.
USC Law, particularly the Career Development and Career Services Center, has been awesome.
The Career Services Office helps students with career planning. We offer self-assessments, coaching; we review application materials. We also solicit employers for on-campus interviews and job postings.
The career directors work very hard to align you with mentors, to give you job options. For me, that has meant being in Washington, DC. They have been integral in allowing me to meet alumni from the University of South Carolina who work in DC, who are in the federal government, and who are able to help me as I continue my career.
As lawyers, we are called to be leaders in our community and within our state. The Konduros Program is awesome for those interested in public service, but also simply leadership. I was able to learn my leadership style, the leadership style of others around me, but also, how we can take our collective strength to make a difference.
